Lesson Task – Camera Basic

In the picture above I show how the correct settings can change a picture´s mood completley! They are both RAW files so it´s not edited in any way

Explain how you would set the correct ISO
When i took this picture, it was after sundown so it´s getting dark. with this information i choose the lowest ISO to eliminate the grain noice. I use the ISO button on the top of my camera and choose 100.

Explain how you would change the aperture
With my lense the aperture can range from 6.3 to 33. The smaler number the less is in focus but more of the sensor can take light in. I chose f/13 which is a small aperture that shows more in focus but takes in less light! With my camera i can change the aperture with my quick control dial.

Explain how you would change the shutter speed
The shutter speed determines how much light the sensor will capture in seconds. I chose 1/6 of a second with the main dial on top of the camera, I chose a slow shutterspeed so i could have my ISO on the lowest to reduce noice in the picture.
