This week’s Lesson task we got to create our own personla logo. We got to use the moodboard we made last week to make this weeks logo!
Here is my moodboard! I absolutely love clean linework and like to mix it in with what i make.
As many others, i want to use my initials «CMB» as my logo but make it more interessing. I used a thin sans serif «Raleway Extra thin» for C and B. The M i made into two mountain peaks as i live in a place with mountains surrounding me and i also love to take landscape pictures on my free time!
The logo is modern and clean with few lines in it. The different colors that can be used in different setting is black, white and pastell blue. I chose blue because it referes to the snow in the mountains and water in the ocean. I want a soft color to use when white or black won’t work on products. The logo will be used as a watermark on photo’s so i made it compressed and small so it wont be the focus in the picture. It will be used in a 15 – 50% opacity. The last picture is how i want to use the blue color on print.
In the sketches i tried to play around with how i can arrange the letters in a pleasing way but still keep the clean look. I chose to add «MEDIA» because i make diffetrent types of products, both photo and video, and now graphic elements.
