This week’s assigments is about understanding the way a font can make your image stronger and the potencial it has to reach out to the target group.
In the picture below you can see what each part of a typeface is called. As a designer you need to find the perfect typeface for your product so it looks good and hits the target group in the right way. Example, Times New Roman fits well with newspaper and body text but since it is a old type style it wont fit as good on a billboard in capital letters or on a keyboard. on such media it is better to use a sans serif typeface for a modern and clean look.
